Adam Bruckner
Adam Bruckner was born in Los Alamos, New Mexico, and grew up in the Milwaukee area.
After attending the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, Bruckner traveled the country between professional soccer trials. It was on that journey that he met homeless men from the four corners of the United States, and his stereotypes about the poor were challenged and destroyed.
Bruckner was both a player and an assistant coach with the Philadelphia Kixx from 2001-2010. In 2002, an outreach through a church group led to the founding of Philly Restart in Center City Philadelphia.
