HELPING HAND RESCUE MISSION, DR. GARRETT MARSH INITIATIVE

Governor Wolf issued a "STAY AT HOME" order for much of Pennsylvania recently, but that isn't possible for many that live on the streets of Philadelphia.
The Helping Hand Rescue Mission (the parent organization of Philly Restart) has been working with the area's homeless since 1905, but this is a complicated season.
Instead of serving family style meals at our center, we now provide dinners in "to go" containers - but many of our visitors, don't have a place to go. We have provided socially distanced chairs for those that need a few minutes to sit and eat, but we have a need more urgent than our food. Philadelphia's homeless community is highly vulnerable to COVID-19, and we hope to provide masks to our unsheltered guests. Our friends need our help - and we need your help. Please consider making a donation to the Helping Hand Rescue Mission mask fund so we can protect our vulnerable community and each other in this season.
